Production of Technical Rooms for Various Purposes 

Ashcrete has built for the Mekorot water company technical rooms, including electrical power supply rooms, to predetermined construction specifications. The room production process was carried out at the Ashcrete plant by means of high quality versatile moulds providing for the manufacture of rooms of various sizes - mostly 3 metres wide by 4 metres long by 3 metres high. 

The walls of the room were made of reinforced concrete, including openings, a ceiling and built-in doors with a frame prepared and concreted on casting. The floor of the rooms was produced industrially as part of the room or cast in situ. The rooms were assembled on the building site itself, involving about a day’s work for each room.
