Advanced Logistics Centre to International Standards

The logistics center built for Shufersal Online spans 42,000 sq.m. and includes two stories, a connecting bridge to the adjacent office building, and a two-level underground parking facility.

The construction process began with the installation of a prefabricated concrete frame and various industrialized elements, followed by the placement of industrialized columns on the first level. This phase required the transportation of beams and columns to the construction site using trucks and mobile cranes. In the subsequent phase, industrialized columns were also installed on the second level, overhead nets were set up, concrete topping was poured, and prestressed slab ceilings capable of bearing heavy loads were assembled. Additionally, intermediate levels were constructed, along with 15 merchandise unloading docks and 30 pick-up truck loading docks, complemented by the installation of an automated collection system.

All elements for the logistics center were produced at the Ashcrete plant and transported to the site, facilitating a streamlined construction process and significantly reducing project timelines.
